As for the IV, I've never had one but I've certainly had to have plenty of blood taken over the course of my life, frequently for Lyme's tests. The last time I did, the nurse stuck my left arm three arms before switching arms and finally tapping the vein. Those three mistakes left me with quite a bruised elbow.</description>
