Chicago from the Sears Tower

When I was in Chicago a few weeks ago, I had the chance to visit the top of the Sears Tower….at night.  I thought that daytime would be better, but a nighttime view gave me a whole new perspective of the beauty of Chicago.  The lights added so much depth to the expanse of the city and the existence of life below as cars and trains zoomed around the city.  A lot of the time, I feel as though the photograph never really tells the whole story because there are so many environmental factors involved with shooting landscapes.  But when you’re standing in a building with crying babies and crowds of people, the photograph really does the justice of the view.img_7662.jpgimg_75661.jpgimg_7513.jpgimg_76241.jpg

I did not have a tripod along with me, but I put the ledge to good use to stabilize the camera. ;)

Now, can you sell those commercially, or do they have some stupid restriction against it?
