There’s a gorgeous view from the top of Cadillac Mountain, but it was quite foggy at the top when I visited earlier this week. Nevertheless, the fog provided some amazing photo ops. I love fog. It always makes everything look so colorful and mysterious.

I needed to get out of Philadelphia for a while so I drove to Maine yesterday (left at 5am). I’m going to be spending a while on Mt. Desert Island doing lots of photography, hiking, biking, exploring, and relaxing. I really needed it. I’m renting a house just outside of Acadia National Park in Otter Creek. There’s a huge window that overlooks a field and the backyard. I’ll write more about that later. And photos of Maine to follow soon.
For now, here’s a shot of the George Washington Bridge in NYC at sunrise yesterday morning.
I went to Binghamton, NY this past weekend. It was quite a packed weekend. A highlight was seeing the incredible leaves changing in the area of Salt Springs State Park in Pennsylvania. I don’t recall seeing such a dramatic variety of colors in autumn. Just beautiful. Unfortunately, my photos don’t convey the variety of colors, but sometimes a memory is better than a photograph.
