20395672_8111944.jpg

I sell many products with my artwork (both photography and paintings) on Society6. You can purchase a whole bunch of items from greeting cards to shower curtains, duvet blankets and even leggings (which I personally think are awesome!). Of course, you can also purchase my prints there as well in various formats. So if you were looking for something in particular with one of my pieces of art on it, be sure to check out my Society6 shop!

Everyday Should be Earth Day

Rocky Ridge County Park. York County, Pennsylvania

Rocky Ridge County Park. York County, Pennsylvania

Although I believe that everyday should be Earth Day, I hope that each of you will contemplate what living on this big spaceship means to you. Our water, food, our air, and so many more things good and beautiful come from this planet.

Yesterday during a hike with my cousin at Rocky Ridge County Park, I was picking up trash along the way. There were no garbage cans to be found or signs noting that visitors should carry out their own trash. I know that in many instances, trash ends up in locations due to wind blowing it out of trash cans, but in some instances like this, it was clear that people were just careless.

I pick up trash whenever I can, but today I challenge you to pick up trash that you may find on your streets or in your natural areas. Not only is it unsightly, but many of these items end up in our waterways and eventually in our oceans. Many birds and sea life die because they mistake this trash for food (especially plastic bags which are my biggest pet peeve).

Artists Light-Up Literacy

Please join me on May 14 from 6-9pm at Artists Light-Up Literacy, an art market & auction fundraiser for the York County Literacy Council. I will be selling a variety of my paintings and photographs that will benefit the YCLC.

The Literacy Council offers English literacy programs for adults and families, enabling them to become more productive at home, in the workplace and the community.
