I started painting watercolors in December 2013 over a time when I was dealing with kidney stones. I didn't pick my paints and brushes up again until this January. This time I was painting while coping with anxiety, depression and personal changes and growth. Painting has been incredibly therapeutic for me. I've only recently begun to give my paintings titles as I reflect back on my thoughts at the time.
My dear friend Bonnie began writing about daily gifts during her 70th year. Today she wrote about my journey intertwined with three of my paintings that now hang in her house. I wanted to share it with you because it is a sweet story that brought tears (of happiness) to my eyes. Thank you, Bonnie. Please read her story here.
